Surface Design work is available for licensing. While I am still designing and producing my products in my shop here, these early designs were made to focus on one simple motif, the animal or plant in a basic repeat, usually from black pen and ink.
The work here includes many of the same animals and plants but is developed using more complex and colorful pattern design techniques for licensing. In addition to pen and ink, I am exploring watercolor and other mediums to accomplish my vision for each collection.
I have two portfolios below. One is inspired by wildlife and one is inspired by historical patterns. My color palette reflects my best-selling designs from my Wendy Barnes Design product line.
